Labrador Retriever Rescue Kicks Off Campaign to Recruit Volunteers and Foster Homes
Harrisburg, PA (PRWEB) October 13, 2006 Susie Q, a beautiful young black Lab mix, was found wandering the Pennsylvania turnpike. Denver, a handsome male black Lab, was brought in as a stray at a shelter. What do these dogs have in common? They are in need of a foster home to give the volunteers at Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue time to find them their new forever homes.
Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, which places an average of 100 dogs per year, is kicking off its annual campaign to recruit volunteer foster homes so that more Labs can be rescued. The amount of Labs and Lab mixes in need of a temporary home far outnumbers the available foster homes.
