All Volunteer Non-Profit Group Saves Over 1,100 Dogs; Diane Dwyer Contributes to Fundraising Effort
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) September 13, 2006 German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California announces that it has saved over 1,100 dogs due to the efforts of its all volunteer team. Without a facility or employees, the non-profit group relies on volunteers for all of its daily operations. The group rescues dogs prior to euthanesia in local animal shelters and provides food, shelter and medical care. A significant part of the group's financial resources are derived from its annual fundraiser. The next fundraiser is scheduled for October 16, 2006.
